At an airfield in Pondok Cabe, beside the Glider Club, about 30 minutes from Jakarta, Indonesia on the 15th of March, 2009 a number of members from a simulator group were given the opportunity to take their interest and their simulator experience (on Microsoft Simulators) into the air and realize their ambitions, in real aircraft.

The opportunity was provided by the Indonesia Flying Club (IFC). Many thanks to Phillip and Chepy from IFC for the opportunity and for their support.

By the way, I heard a very experienced pilot say he was quite impressed with the skills of the enthusiasts at the controls of a real aircraft even though they had only previously had experience on relatively low cost simulators - Bravo Guys!.
